How Big Is Your God?
Notes
This popularity poll of deities shows that the world is decidedly divided as to the nature of the divine
The area of each image indicates the number of people in the world who follow that deity.
Don't be surprised if your god isn't as big as you thought.
If you live in an isolated tribe, you might think that everyone believes in your clan's deity. If you live in Arabia, you might think that everyone believes in Allah. If you live in America, you might think that everyone believes in Jesus.
You can believe in a god for many reasons, but a quick glance at this collage shows that you can't believe in a god just because everyone believes in him. It simply ain't so. Your god may be big in your neck of the woods, but he ain't so big in mine.
